Located in the central city area, in the residential neighborhood of Kozle, in Skopje - the facade of the Insignis house is a perfect composition that offers a balance of colors, lights and materials.
That was the main inspiration for the Insignis facade - a composition that captivates the viewer moving along the street and one that stands out from the others. The main focus of the facade is to be energy efficient and environmentally conscious, that is the future in design.
The house was designed in the 2000s with architectural style elements that follow the trend of its time.
The task of the design team of Archx Studio was to adapt the style to today's trends without major structural changes.
Therefore, by using contrasting colors in combination with wood-textured tiles, the team emphasized the composition of the house and gave it contemporary style elements.
There are two types of lighting: linear and accent, which work separately.
Line lighting is placed under all the bay windows and under the side colonnade of columns to highlight the projecting elements.
The accent lighting is solved by double-sided spotlights that are placed on the fields covered with the wood-textured tiles, to highlight the materiality.
The protruding elements are dark in color to emphasize their weight and give the illusion of floating.
