The Mistique interior was commissioned by a couple, software engineers with excellent, refined taste. The design process went smoothly because they had a clear vision and expectations for their space.
Two key requirements defined the project: creating a space for both work and everyday living simultaneously, and accommodating their two pets, who are a very important part of their lives.
This concept is becoming increasingly popular among young couples due to the opportunities of the digital era and working from home, making it an exciting design challenge.

The apartment includes an entrance area, one bedroom, a living room with kitchen and dining area, a bathroom, and two balconies that provide excellent natural light throughout the space. The color palette was defined from the very beginning—white, sage green, burgundy, and ivory, combined with oak-toned wood. The style is a blend of Mediterranean and modern, with an emphasis on creating an eclectic interior—full of character, yet calming, as it is a space where they spend most of their day. The client is also passionate about crystals and mysticism, which is subtly reflected throughout the interior.

LIVING ROOM
The living room is a compact space integrated with the dining area and kitchen. The TV wall stands out as a focal point, with their two desks positioned on either side. Their work requires running three computers simultaneously, so the space was designed to provide a larger working surface.
Their pets have their own dedicated corner in the living room, placed in their already “favorite” spots, meaning they also played a big role in shaping the design as members of the family.

The dining area is highlighted by the accent wall behind it and a contrasting artwork that complements the space beautifully. The kitchen continues from there—small but fully functional for their needs. A key feature is the checkerboard-style flooring in lighter shades of gray and white, enhancing the Mediterranean feel with a modern twist.

The bathroom gains its character from luxurious dark green marble tiles that enrich the space. At the entrance, a bench with a large mirror makes the area both practical and visually more spacious.
The wardrobe in the hallway provides storage for shoes, coats, and additional items, keeping the entry area uncluttered.
The bedroom is simple, featuring the same burgundy tone and natural wood finishes, with access to a balcony.
There is also a balcony connected to the living room, designed as a spiritual, “zen” corner for relaxation, with a small daybed and shelves for the clients’ favorite hobbies.
